Zainab Ahmad a truly remarkable woman

Zainab Ahmad is more well known as the wife of the late Tan Sri Taib Andak, who was a prominent Malaysian corporate figure from 1950s to the '80s. However, as the proverb goes, "Behind every successful man is a woman", there is definitely more to Zainab than meets the eye.

Zainab Ahmad was born into an illustrious Johor family in 1919 and has led a life rich with diversity - education within the British colonial rue, child rearing during the Japanese occupation, championing women's political activities in the 1950s and throughout her late husband's distinguished career, Zainab quietly but stalwartly played the role of dedicated and supportive wife and mother to their children.

The story of her fulfilling life must be shared, not only for the benefit of her family, but as an example or a woman who has lived her life to its fullest without regret, took her challenges in stride, and who has touched the lives of so many around her. This book not only focuses on Zainab and her family, but encapsulates little "life" lessons within the stories told.
